At the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, we realize that young people need a variety of positive experiences and qualities to grow up to be caring, competent, responsible members of the community. For more than 133 years, we have offered values-based programs and services to enable people to develop in spirit, mind and body.
Our core values - caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith - have given the YMCA a strong foundation to respond to the changing needs in our community.
These values are a part of everything we do. And we believe they are an integral part of every child's upbringing. They are building blocks that guide children and youth into adulthood.
